Limitless Student Ministry

Limitless Student Ministry

We are so glad that you have taken the time to check out our ministry here at Lakeview. Students at Lakeview are offered many opportunities to experience God’s transforming power, personally. We have Sunday School classes, for Middle School and High School students, on Sunday mornings, you may participate with the Adult Choir on Sunday evenings, and on Wednesday evenings, we offer a Bible Study for students, to help you to grow and mature in your personal walk with the Lord.

In addition to regularly scheduled weekly activities, Limitless offers many additional activities to strengthen the bond between our students and adults, and reach our community. These include service or mission projects, youth workdays, Worship/Prayer Nights, SNAC (Sunday Night After Church – food and games), summer camps, DiscipleNow weekend, and much more!

The vision of the Limitless Student Ministry comes from John 14:12, which states,

The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing.

Youth ministry is about adults investing their lives into middle and high school students to lead them to a more mature relationship with God. Limitless seeks to build a strong team of adults to be able to minister to students, so the students can also minister in their spheres of influence. We are disciples forming disciples.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only message which brings hope in our world, and we want to perceive evangelism as a felt need in the people around us. We don’t seek to share out of obligation, but out of love for our family, friends, coworkers, and God.

Limitless aims to build a healthy community of followers of Jesus with its defining characteristics being love and trust. We want to create an environment where students feel welcomed and safe as we seek God together.

The devotional life is the key to all of the other core values. We want to seek God individually through being drenched in the scriptures, praying constantly, and being attentive to God in all of our circumstances. If we do not have a solid devotional life, then our community will not be defined by love and trust, we won’t share the Gospel, and discipleship will become superficial. God promises if we seek Him, then we will find Him. So let us make every effort to seek Him and to live in His truth.

As we follow the example of Jesus Christ we will do the same work He did.

And the works He has prepared for us to build His kingdom are LIMITLESS!
