Helping Hands Ministry

Why Helping Hands?

Helping Hands Ministry of Belton seeks to share the Gospel of Christ Jesus while providing relief and resources to every family in need in the community!

Where is Helping Hands?

Helping Hands Ministry of Belton is located at 2210 Holland Rd, Belton  76513.  They can be contacted at (254) 939-7355.

How does Lakeview support Helping Hands?

Lakeview supports the ministry of Helping Hands in multiple ways.  Throughout the year, Lakeview collects non-perishable food items to be donated to Helping Hands.  Each month, we choose an emphasis (i.e. pre-packaged after school snacks, meals (spaghetti noodles and sauce), canned vegetables, etc), and collect these items throughout the month.  At the end of each month, collected items are taken to the Helping Hands food bank in Belton, where they can be given to those in need, within our community.

Another way that Lakeview supports the Helping Hands Ministry is financially.  Ten percent of Lakeview's annual budget is given to the missions that we, as a church, support.  Each year, Helping Hands receives a portion of the monies which we receive, through tithes and offerings.  These funds assist both the relief and development ministries of Helping Hands.

What does Helping Hands do?

Helping Hands maintains a wide variety of ministries in the Belton community including a fully functioning client-choice food pantry, a clothing department, and a general store. In addition, Helping Hands offers financial relief to qualifying clients to cover the expenses of rent and utilities. Our ministries are divided into two categories—relief and development.
