At Lakeview Baptist Church, we believe students deserve more than a seat in a pew. The 317 Student Ministry exists to help middle and high school students build a real, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and learn to live that out in the everyday; in school, at home, and in everything in between.
We're not interested in surface-level faith. We want students to know God deeply, wrestle with His Word honestly, and walk with Him boldly.
On Sunday mornings, we gather for age-specific Bible study groups where students can ask real questions, build genuine friendships, and dig into Scripture in a way that meets them where they are.
On Sunday evenings, we go deeper: walking verse-by-verse through books of the Bible, or tackling topical studies like "TikTok Said What?!" that help students see how God's Word connects to the world they actually live in.
But this ministry is more than weekly meetings. It's about building a foundation that lasts long after graduation.
Beyond Sundays
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to:
Attend summer camps that create space for life-changing encounters with God
Serve through local outreach and mission opportunities
Build lasting friendships through events and fellowship
Everything we do is designed to move students from simply knowing about God to walking closely with Him.

The name 317 is no accident, it's a calling.
The vision of 317 Student Ministry is rooted in 2 Timothy 3:16–17: "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
That's what we're after. Not just students who know Bible facts, but young men and women who are fully equipped for the life God has designed for them.
