Condemnation: The Reality of Sin

In the second sermon of the series “The Work of God in the Life of a Believer,” Dr. Robert Crowder takes us deep into the reality of sin and its consequences, focusing on Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. This message confronts the sobering truth that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Sin is not just about wrong actions—it is a condition that affects every human being, and its wage is death. Yet in the midst of condemnation, the Gospel shines bright with hope: “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This sermon walks through the universal guilt of sin, the eternal consequence of sin, humanity’s helplessness apart from Christ, and the amazing grace offered to all who believe. It is both a warning and a call to receive the free gift of salvation and share that hope with others.
