COVID-19 & LBC – Update (March 24, 2020)

Welcome Visitor,

Today, Bell County Judge David Blackburn issued, Directive #3, “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order for Bell County. You can read the full directive here.

Bell county announced the following numbers concerning the Coronavirus:

  • 16 reported cases
  • 2 Positive
  • State of Texas: 352 cases with 8 fatalities
  • US: 35,404 with 400 fatalities
  • This “Stay home, Stay Safe” order is in effect until April 3, 2020.

What this means for LBC? LBC will continue its obedience to the CDC, local Bell County directives and will not have services until after April 3rd, if given the go-ahead authorities. Our prayers are that we will meet together, as a church family on Easter Sunday. We pray you will be able to join us. Until then LBC will continue to stream the service.

LBC church offices are now officially closed until April 3rd. All staff will honor the directive, by working from home. If you need to contact our staff for any reason, please use our contact page.

To our church family, we encourage you to continue to send your tithes and offerings to the church. Even though we are not meeting together, the bills and support of our missionaries continues. You can donate online. Thank you in advance.

While we are not sharing the same “space” together, let us reach out to those in need, showing the Christianity that is so needed when people are in great fear. Uncertainty can open up dialog that has been closed in the past. “email, text, call.” That is the answer to the fear of 2020.

May the Lord bless you and your families during this time.
