What We Believe

As a church that is built upon the living and active Word of God, we believe that it is important for you to understand what we believe and where we stand on certain issues. Below you will find just a few of the foundational biblical principles upon which we stand as well as our complete Articles of Faith.

We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ His son, and the Holy Spirit as the Trinity revealed in the Bible.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV)

We believe that people, although created in God’s image, are separated from God because of our sin. God is just and merciful and offers salvation to everyone through the atoning death and resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Salvation is a gift that is available to all and is received by personal belief or faith.

11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John 5:11-12 (ESV)

We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy Word. It is the authority for our beliefs and our morals. Each person is accountable to God to discern God’s will through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that to grow with God through the Holy Spirit you should read your Bible every day.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV
